Just stuff.

Well somehow I've found myself an EPL fan. I blame all that fanfic entirely. Trouble is I don't have a particular team, just random players. I suppose if I had to pick a team, at gunpoint or whatever, it would be Liverpool because Mikey is just edible. Besides I've always loved the term "Liverpudlians" Not that I spelled that correctly. A pity about all Liverpool's injuries though. It seemed a fairly violent day for the EPL all 'round, umpteen bookings and sendings off.
ESPN decided to show the Sunday Serie A games instead of Saturday's so I missed the Milan - Bologna fixture. They did show SuperPippo's, damn straight Super-kiss my arse Trappatoni-Pippo, goal and that was some consolation. Hee, I bet coaches all over Italy are making their defenders write out a thousand times, "I must not give Inzaghi an inch inside the box."
Both Mrs Inzaghi's wee boys scored this weekend with Simone netting one for Lazio.
I got up at nine am on Sunday to catch the Roma match. Energising to say the least, Totti was in rare form with two fantastic goals. They had little trouble romping all over Brescia. Juve had more trouble with Chievo but they managed, ending 2-1.
I think the next Euro 2004 qualifier is in October against Azerbaijan. Pippo and Del P look fit and dangerous as does that new Juve signing whose name I refuse to try and spell. Totti looked good today and he's Trap's precioussss so he's got no worries about being selected. Perhaps Scary-Hair Vieri might end up being the bench warmer this time, unless they want him to scare the defenders.
I promised my mum that I would help her with her lesson plan for Catholic kiddy camp (my name for this class she's helping with) who in their right minds would willingly associate with five year olds? Wanders off to break down prayers into kiddie speak.

Date: 2003-09-15 08:21 am (UTC)i got to see some games on a channel called from wowow (it's from japan, i think) but not this year. suddenly they've decided they will show real madrid games ONLY. what gives?!?!?!?! see... that's the reason why i don't think david beckham is a ray of sunshine... it's as if the world revolves around him.. although i'm sure he doesn't want that.. but still. that's the reality now.
he he he he he yeah... welcome to the fold!!! HAR HAR HAR!!! liverpool's not a bad team to support.. they're a great team (and i'm a manc!) so the next time the father asks you why you just say, "they're great..." (with an inner voice saying: "... to look at.. i'd like michael owen for brekkie tomorrow...")
ciao.

hee, i think our pretty new boy's name is spelled leggrotaglie. might just be the one 'g' in the first part, tho...and the rest of it mightbe wrong too. so confusing. ;) october 11!! can't wait. i dunno if poor scary-hair can compete with those foot massages, so he might be on the bench.

Date: 2003-09-16 12:07 am (UTC)ahhh, it was such a good game! so entertaining, the whole thing. i was so impressed with chievo, actually. juve had to work for their points, but i thought they deserved them in the end. davids is great. i really hope we dont lose him to roma next year. or sooner. :(
