He's not married and opinion fluctuates on whether he's engaged or not. He lives with Gabriela Pagnozzi, whom he met at WC98 after he was injured. She was a volunteer of some sort and spent time talking with him and taking care of him while he was injured. (Have to admit that's kind of romantic.) She's from Rome too and moved up to Milan a few weeks after he did.
