• My cousin's birthday was on the 14th, my deceased grandfather's on the 18th, another cousin's is tomorrow and mine is the 28th; that's a lot of e-cards.
• No work, Carnival time; I have flu anyway.

I also found it unbearable they have britney's breakdown as headline news when there're so many important things going on around the world. What about Anna Nicole Smith's death? CNN went 3 hour straight without commercials on her, makes it, according to Jon stewart, longer than State of Union, slightly shorter than 9/11.

I find the celebrity obsession frightening. I'm waiting for the day a reporter or camera person runs a tired, frustrated celebrity into oncoming traffic and declares, "I was just doing my jooooobbb!"
