While I probably will never click a link leading to "the Davids" or Torres/Random Spaniard slash, I do admire the perseverance and discipline of folks who can produce twenty chapters of said Spanish slash.

It is mind boggling, isn't it? Still, some tales take a while to tell. I like to think of the author at her computer, happy and busy.

I'd really love some vintage Italian or even Portuguese fic right now. I don't want sad panda Italy babies coming home to jeers and flung eggs.

I think he looks like Archie Andrews with his short hair and Fabregas' beard is disturbing on that baby face. The Davids feel a bit like twincest to me.

Oh, yes please!! Even South Americans. I'm going to have to go dig out Lizzie's Diego Forlan fic. In honor of him doing so well at the WC. *cough*

I was nonplussed by Cesc's beard at first too. But do you know, I'm starting to like it. I like beards and not enough players have them. Just scruff.

And I concur about the Davids.

There just appear to be fewer people writing this WC. Although perhaps that is sue to every spare minute being spent watching games and perhaps people will start to write when it's over or there are days between games.
