I'm wondering if that's the real reason Lippi doesn't want him on the National team. He's worried Cassano will pull a goofy prank on someone more tightly wound and get broken beyond repair.

I am of two minds on putting him on the National team. On the one hand, I'm concerned about the tantrums, but on the other, he's a talented player...

That's the thing, there's no balance in him and that's likely to bring about another Totti-Poulsen incident. Only without the spitting and probably with fisticuffs and blood.
