So I watched Sorrority Life...and lost 10 IQ points doing so. I have just one thing to say about that show, "BITCH PLEASE!" Beams proudly, don't tell me I didn't learn anything new in grad school.
Well, that was fairly pointless but insomnia will do that to you. I walked for two miles this afternoon. I'm really out of condition but it's the first real exercise I've had since the surgery. I'm too complacent about sitting on my butt and while I'll never be fat...well size 8 probably is fat in this day and age but who cares about the opinion of celery eating, calorie counting twats...but I'm getting soft and I hate that!

Date: 2003-10-09 01:38 am (UTC)I'm happy to hear that you're recovering from (or so I assume + hope) whatever medical difficulty you had...and as long as you're eating healthy and working out (on top of watching reality tv! :D) it's all good yes? Hee. I did yoga every day this whole summer but ever since I got back to school it's been really hard to keep up. Still, I practiced for an hour and it felt so great...so go you! :)

Date: 2003-10-09 11:04 am (UTC)Yep, I'm doing much better now health wise. It wasn't a major problem, just something I'd neglected so long that the only treatment option left was surgery. I was weak for a month afterwards then I had to restrict my activity for two months more for a full recovery. My main problem is that I'm physically lazy and when I got out of the habit of daily exercise...well I didn't want to go back.
I always wanted to try yoga. I did light weights, some spin biking and walking. At least, thanks to the surgery, I get a free month in the gym when I go back!
