Dear Idiots,

What part of wild animal don't you understand? Tigers do not belong near kids in senior class pictures any more than they belong in tacky shows in Las Vegas. I feel sorry for the animal and I feel sorry for the kid. I can just hear the lawsuits coming down the pipe because an innocent chyyyyllld and a pweshus life was taken by a horrible, icky wild beast. Yet no one thought it might not be the best idea to put the two together in the first place. Asshats! ASSHATS, I say!

I heard about that on the news yesterday, ugh. The report ended with the news anchor saying in a rather mollifying tone, "The tiger was killed shortly thereafter."

What. The. FUCK?! I was so upset. I felt much more sorry for the dead tiger than for the teenager and her family. Unfortunate as the attack was, people should know better.

The way humans have chosen to subjugate animals makes me sick. We're not even willing to share this planet with them -- we treat them like they're expendable and inconsequential to OUR existence, when actually the opposite is true. It's absolutely disgusting. [/rant]

Agreed! But people keep whining, "ohhhh but it's just an animal, you can't compare the life of a person to that of an animal." Heh, there's more than 6 billion people; the stupid ones can be darwinised in my opinion!
