Coffee or update?

Sundays are very dull, especially rainy Sundays. I love a good thunder shower but three times a day, everyday is a bit much for anyone. Bad weather for long holidays, especially on an island. The long school vacation should be around Easter time when the weather is best.

The rain can be tiresome but there's something about the wet, grey light that brings out the natural beauty of the Caribbean. Sometimes, in the sunlight the colours are so harsh and bright that it's almost painful to look at them.

Seven Brides for Seven Brothers is on TCM! That musical kills, all those alphabetical brothers in their colour co-ordinated shirts doing a pioneer ballet.

I need a new layout...any ideas?

It's truly the most hilarious musical EVER. *giggles* My favourite bit is during the barn-raising contest, when the group of bullies is itching for a fight and starts sabotaging the Brothers' efforts -- at one point, one bully actually THROWS A HAMMER at Orange Brother's head. Too fucking funny. ;-)

Yes and the town bullies are all dolled up in jackets and waistcoats to raise a barn!

I like the scene near the end where the parson asks whose baby he heard crying and all the girls announce, "Mine!"

i love that movie! a fun classic to watch. i remember we were teasing this guy friend of ours that there were girls pillow fighting in their underwear and when he watched it was the loooong and completely covered underwear of old.
