You know, writing can be a pain in the behind. I'm getting a little depressed over the fic I'm working on now. The worst part is there's really no one around to discuss it with. My mum noticed I was a bit down and wanted to know why. How am I supposed to tell her, "Well, I'm upset because the only muse who'll talk to me seems to be Totti's and he insists on hiding from his feelings and pretending he doesn't care." I can see the raised eyebrows and the reaching for the valium even now.

I have a guilty little secret, every time I see Totti in his Roma shirt I like him a little more. Granted that doesn't add up to much liking 'cuz he's still a place stealing, Trap bum kissing, inconsistent brat. But I'm still ashamed to admit it.

Today wasn't all bad though, there was Maldinesta love at the end of the match.

No, pouts. It was sweet though, they were walking off the pitch and Maldini had his head down while Nesta rubbed his back and talked to him. Maldini made an error toward the end that gave Ajax the ball in the area despite him having a great match. Maybe Nesta was comforting him.

ESPN just reran the match. Apparently Maldini slipped and the ball got taken away by an Ajax player. When he fell he also dislocated a finger so he couldn't get back up immediately. My poor Paolo, Nesta was probably asking if he needed it kissed better....yep in my twisted little mind.
