Who expected that? Greece was very efficient. I hope this isn't going to turn out like the CL with all the big teams going out :(

I'd seen an interview of Rehagel, the Greek coach, and I was really curious to see how they'd do since he seemed so damn confident. Now I know! The Greeks played well, especially considering the odds. Mostly I felt sorry for noodle boy... but at least he scored the header. Okay. I'm knocking on wood for your comment at the end. Hee!

Greece looked sharp from the beginning. Portugal probably would have had a better chance if Nuno Gomez and Noodle Boy had started.

Well, Spain won so perhaps this was a fluke! ;) When you think of it even though Portugal is good they aren't on the level of Spain, France, Italy, England and Holland *crosses fingers*

Portugal's defence sucks...seriously.

I´m not sure if Portugal played badly or Greece played good. ha-ha. but definitely the greek victory was a surprise.

Yeah, they couldn't handle Greece, who looked very strong.

I think people forget, Greece topped their qualifying group. Which is why Spain had to play Norway in the play-offs.

I only saw highlights of the match but Portugal just weren't on form at all.

Ouch! After reading that comment I realised that I still haven't recovered from the CL quarterfinals.

You're right, Portugal are not quite in the same league as France, Spain or even England. They may have Figo, Noodle Boy, Costa, and Baia but they do lack depth in some departments.

I'm not over the quarterfinals either.

Me, me, me!
Nah, don't mind me. I am drunk on the winning and the ouzo.

But Rehagel simply does not do the losing thing very often. Only did it once actually and that was when he was with of Bayern Munich. He works miracles with the underdogs.
